Hinduism is not a religion but a way of life very flexible but very vibrant. It’s a way of living according to the one’s understanding of principles of Vedas and Upanishads. Veda is revealed knowledge. Just as the knowledge of gravity was revealed to Newton, similarly, in India, many Rishis or Seers were awakened to certain transcendental Eternal Truths. These Rishis realized that their real nature was not concerned with or linked with ‘body or mind’, nor was it dependent on sense perceptions, but was in fact identical with the Universal Consciousness.

It differes from other religion as there is no single founder,a specific theological system, a single system of morality or a central religious organization. It consists of thousands of religious group that have evolved in India since 1500 BCE. It is regarded as worlds oldest organized religion

Its worlds third largest religion.after Chrisitaniy and islam. It claims about 837 million followers which is worlds 13 % population and the followers are mainly from India, Srilanka, Nepal , Mauritius , South Africa, US ,Canada and Surinam. Most forms of Hinduism are henotheistic religions. They recognize a single deity, and view other Gods and Goddesses as manifestations or aspects of that supreme God. Henotheistic and polytheistic religions have traditionally been among the world’s most religiously tolerant faiths. From North to South and East to West there are many pilgrimage centers and we at Archies Travel Services help you in making your pilgrimage possible to the destinations some of the destinations in our region are listed in the following pages.
